THUR. NITE: Allegheny Observatory History on Pittsburgh TV 


The historical film, "Undaunted: The Forgotten Giants of the Allegheny 
Observatory," will be shown in the Pittsburgh region on WQED-TV 13.1 
TONIGHT, Thursday Evening, May 9, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

This film gives the history of the Allegheny Observatory, the 
150-year-old astronomical observatory located on the North Side of 
Pittsburgh, the largest astronomical observatory within the city limits 
of a major American city.
